Welcome to FIT MIND counseling services, where empowerment meets mental wellness. I’m Luiza Rodrigues, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and Massachusetts, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Washington D.C., Georgia, and Virginia. Originally from Brazil, I moved to the USA in my early twenties in 2006. I completed all my counseling and clinical studies in the USA and am dedicated to ongoing professional development. 

At FIT MIND, I’m passionate about guiding patients towards a more meaningful life and fostering self-love. I believe in the transformative power of focusing on self-care, helping individuals embrace their true selves with unconditional love. Every patient is different, so my approach is always tailored for every individual. However, I like to follow the Solution Focused Brief Therapy Model where I help my patients to view their concerns in terms of what is going RIGHT rather than what is going WRONG! By helping my patients to find a solution instead of dwelling on problems. I also like to follow the Motivational Interview Therapy Model to enhance my patients’ motivation and collaboration in our therapeutic journey.
